I know that I had the chance to go see Isabelle in the store, analyze her, and see if there was anything that might keep me from getting her, but for those of who don't have the opportunity to see her in store before buying her, I am having an Isabelle Question and Answer! All you have to do is ask a question about Isabelle the doll, or ask for doll pictures of certain parts of her or compared to one of my other dolls. I will answer all of the questions on Saturday, and I will post my Nutcracker photo shoot on Sunday if you want pictures of Isabelle 'dancing'. Let the questions begin!
Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to go the an American Girl Place and buy Isabelle! She is so pretty! Here is her beautiful face!
Her eyes are a beautiful color hazel! I think that they are the same color as Rebecca's.
The decal on her shirt is just stunning! I love the detail of the dancer's skirt.
The shoes are much nicer than I expected. They remind me of tap shoes.
I immediately put her pink hair piece in so I don't lose it. You can barely tell that it is there when her hair is down.
Here it is when I was holding a strand.
I love Isabelle so much! I highly reccomend her. Below is a review that I made. I tried to make it really specific to help you decide if you want her.
Hair- I love Isabelle's hair! It is straight, silky, and thick even without the hairpiece. The twist hairstyle that she comes in is just amazing! You can't even see her hairtie!
Eyes- Her eyes are an amazing shade o hazel. They really pop when you put a little bit of green in he outfit. I think that they are a similar color to Rebecca's.
Face and Skin- Her skin is a nice color, but not unique at all. Her face is not pointy at all. I love it! Her lips are a good, appropriate shade.
Shirt- I ADORE this shirt. The detail is just amazing, especially on the dancer's skirt.
Pants- The pants are very nice, but fall down when she sits down.
Shoes- Her shoes are very sparkly. I like them a lot better than I thought I would. They remind me a lot of tap shoes.
Overall- I highly reccomend Isabelle Plamer. She is unique in so many ways, and would be a great first doll or addition to any doll collection.
Happy New Year, everyone! Welcome to myagrocks's Isabelle Release Party! As we all know, American Girl released their new Girl of the Year for purchase today! Her name is Isabelle Palmer, and she is a dancer that lives in Washington D.C. and attends Anna Hart School for Preforming Arts. Isabelle has beautiful blonde hair with a hot pink stripe, sea green eyes, and light skin. She comes in a pink shirt with a dancer on it, grey pants, and gold shoes. Below is a picture of her with her accessories, which include a black jacket, finger-less gloves, a gold purse, a sparkly hair clip, a metro pass, and tickets to the Nutcracker.
She has three books, Isabelle, Designs By Isabelle, and To the Stars, Isabelle. They are all written by Laurence Yep, and include details about Isabelle's life, such as what it is like attending Anna Hart School for the Preforming Arts and how she over comes her problems.
She has a bunch of wonder items, and here is the link to view them.
Now, for my top three items. Isabelle is one of them, but I will not include her as she has already been posted about.
The first item her Isabelle's Mix & Match Outfit for Dolls # 14.
I like this set because everything coordinates so well. I ADORE the leggings! I hope to buy at least some of this set with Isabelle.
The next item is her Isabelle's Dance Barre.
I like this set because it is very nessecary for real ballerinas to have a bar. I will try to get it for Isabelle later in the year.
My last item is her Isabelle's Performance Set.
I like this outfit because of the tutu! Just look at how cute it is!
I am so excited that Isabelle is out! Everything of hers is so cute and I can't wait to discuss it all with you.
